CHRISTIAN DEVOTIONAL - FULFILLING THE MISSION

CHRISTIAN DEVOTIONAL

FULFILLING THE MISSION

We can momentarily deviate without losing North.

MY Pastor Toni Selma taught me: who does not know where he is going, any bus will do. However, on certain occasions, we will have to deviate from the place or the proposed goal despite everything that this may imply. Being clear about our identity in God, that is, clearly recognising our purpose, destiny and divine dream, will make any brief decision to deviate or leave the goal easier, because later, we will be able to relocate without major inconveniences. As I have been able to comment in other writings, I am very clear about my identity as an evangelical Christian, however, I can perfectly speak of God's love to any other group of Christians, such as traditional religion.

“BUT NOW I AM GOING TO JERUSALEM TO MINISTER TO THE SAINTS.”

Romans 15.25

Let us pray together: God of glory and majesty, reveal to me in the Name of Jesus Christ, what is your purpose, destiny and dream for my life. I know that in my mother's womb you declared it to me, so I beg you to reveal it to me today.

The important thing about this whole matter, or in other words, in order to adequately fulfil our mission, we must have an intimate and deep relationship with God, so that he speaks clearly to us about his Holy and Perfect will through his Holy Spirit. When we act guided by the will of God, we easily understand what we can and cannot do. Jesus of Nazareth only moved guided by the Holy Spirit. Therefore, we see that without any apparent sense, he leaves for Decapolis, he also goes to Caesarea in a strange way, you go to drink water at a well, at noon and without any useful tool to draw water and for the last example, he stays in a population for 3 days despite the fact that his best friend, Lazaro, is dying. God never lost control of the aforementioned situations, so Jesus of Nazareth constantly deviated to follow the will of the Heavenly Father.

“FOR MACEDONIA AND ACHAIA SEE IT KIND TO MAKE AN OFFERING FOR THE POOR THAT ARE AMONG THE SAINTS WHICH ARE IN JERUSALEM.”

Romans 15.26

Let us pray together: Heavenly Father, I need you so much, I need to learn to listen to your voice, to obey you above all things. Give me everything I need to reach the stature of Christ and continue to extend the Kingdom of Heaven.

The Apostle Paul deviated from his destiny, he stopped going to visit the Church of Rome. He had to take money to the poor people of Jerusalem. Perhaps, did the Apostle act under his own criteria? I am convinced that he does not do it deliberately, because Paul always sought God's guidance, and he never lost the North, Paul always fulfilled his mission.

God bless you. Remember to share this text to all the people you can.
