CHRISTIAN DEVOTIONAL - HOLDING ON TO HIS AWESOME

CHRISTIAN DEVOTIONAL

HOLDING ON TO HIS AWESOME

A stone in the shoe can cause a large blister.

TODAY I read the following text: “Albert Einstein said that there are only two ways to live life. In one you live as if nothing were a miracle and in the other, everything is a miracle”. Of course, as human beings, we have the option to choose what lifestyle we are going to lead. Well, God will never demand humanity; In the same way, as Christians, we can decide if we live from miracle to miracle, or on the contrary, we live from chance to chance. I live from miracle to miracle because it helps me see the causality of the events that happen to me and in this way, I thank God for his love, protection, guidance and mercy that are shown to him, day after day.

“WHEN ALL THE PEOPLE SAW HIM WALKING AND PRAISING GOD, THEY RECOGNISED HIM AS THE SAME MAN WHO USED TO ASK FOR ALMS SITTING NEXT TO THE GATE CALLED BEAUTIFUL, AND THEY WERE FILLED WITH ADMIRATION AND ASTONISHMENT AT WHAT HAD HAPPENED TO HIM.”

Acts 3, 9-10.

Let us pray together: Daddy God, in you nothing happens by chance, but because of your great love manifested for me, you make everything that happens to me a blessing for my life, either because I have won or because I have learned.

The character in the story that we are reading in Acts was used to living without miracles, but God, one day, allowed him to live the miracle that took him out of his comfort zone and led him to be in the annals of the history of Christianity. In the same way, each of us Christians has already received the greatest miracle that we could receive: the salvation and restoration of the fallen relationship we had with the Heavenly Father; However, the Good News is that all humanity has the same opportunity to receive their miracle, but it will depend on each one of us to go out and evangelise day after day so that the rest of humanity lives from miracle to miracle.

"WHILE THE MAN CONTINUE TO CLING TO PETER AND JOHN, ALL THE PEOPLE, NOT EXCEEDING THEIR ASTONISHMENT AT HIM, RUN TOWARD THEM TO THE PLACE KNOWN AS SOLOMON'S PORCH."

Acts 3, 11

Let us pray together: Father of love, eternal God, You are supreme and exclusive, that is why I know that Your love for me is unique and special. I live clinging to the miracles that you do in me and for this reason, I surrender and give you all that I am so that, with all of mine, you can do the miracle of salvation and restoration just as you did with me, I ask it in the Name of Jesus of Nazareth.

Something we can be sure, human beings are cyclical. Therefore, when we are wrong or in trouble, we ask, pray and cry out to God, however, when God has blessed us and given us a good answer, over time we forget about His favours until the day comes the next crisis. In order for this cycle to break, it is always good to hold on to the amazement that the miracle given by God left us, because this will produce in each of us a constant desire to live from miracle to miracle.

God bless you. Remember to share this text to as many people as possible.
