CHRISTIAN DEVOTIONAL - WITH A MUZZLE?

 CHRISTIAN DEVOTIONAL

WITH A MUZZLE?

We have the only freedom when we are tied to God.

WHAT a great paradox life itself is; an excellent example of this paradox is that human beings will only find their freedom by being anchored to living a Christian life. Well, when one is linked to God, the Mind of Christ manifests in the human being and this Mind will help him reach the final goal of each individual and that is, to reach the stature of Christ. To do this, it must be considered that in the Old Testament, freedom, salvation and dignity are given by understanding that all the promises given by God to the patriarchs would be fulfilled in the Messiah. However, in the New Testament era that we are in, enjoying the freedom of life means considering that one must imitate Jesus Christ in everything, even if this means that the authorities prohibit speaking or considering that they have to do “their plans” above God's orders.

“BUT TO PREVENT THIS MATTER FROM CONTINUED BEING DISCLOSED AMONG PEOPLE, WE ARE GOING TO THREATEN THEM SO THAT THEY WILL NOT TALK ABOUT THAT NAME TO ANYONE AGAIN.”

Acts 4, 17

Let us pray together: Heavenly Father, today I approach your altar with complete freedom to worship you and bless you because you have freed me from the bonds of this perverse system that surrounds me. In the same way, I long to do your holy and perfect will bringing freedom to all those seeking you to heal their lives. In the name of Jesus of Nazareth, amen.

Today we live surrounded by ideologies that are very contrary to what God desires. For example, from the pulpits one cannot preach against sins because it can hurt the susceptibility of any person, even if this teaching is transmitted through any social network, the preacher can be censored and sued for transmitting a message of hate, or machismo depending on the topic being discussed in the serves.

“THEY CALLED THEM AND ORDERED THEM STRICTLY THAT THEY WILL STOP TALKING AND TEACHING ABOUT THE NAME OF JESUS.”

Acts 4, 18

Let us pray together: Jesus of Nazareth, you alone are my Saviour, Healer and Sustainer. If you tell me to go and preach, I will do it. If you tell me to give love, I will do it. If you tell me to shut up, I will. Because I am anchored to you, because I am crucified with you because I have risen with you because today I rule with you because the power of your Holy Spirit who raised you from death and resurrected you is the one who lives in me doing in me, wanting and doing. Amen.

Honestly, writing this devotional in the comfort of my home and almost from anonymity is easy. What is really hard is happening to those ministers of the Gospel of Christ who are trying to put a muzzle in their mouths so that they do not speak the truth of the Kingdom of Heaven, just as the leaders of the time tried to do with the apostles. Yes, God loves all humanity and longs for all human beings to change their mentality and, therefore, to act in accordance with the community of the Kingdom of Heaven. Therefore, certain aspects of the debauchery that society proposes must change in those people as the Holy Spirit directs it for their lives. While travelling this path, we cannot say good is evil and evil is good. God is a God of order and lives in supreme holiness, He observes us through Jesus Christ, but, this is not a license to live a lifestyle outside the will of God, but to take up the Cross of Christ, day after day.

God bless you. Remember to share this text with as many people as possible.
