SAD AND CRYING

Whoever lends to the poor lends to God.

IN the process of mourning people or things that we lose in life, several months can go by. As human beings, this is something we must do, because in mourning we say goodbye to what we were used to and loved, to make way for the new lifestyle that we must begin to live. Unfortunately, many people who, because they do not want to show their feelings, refuse to cry and show that moment of extreme pain and anguish all that they feel, not allowing mourning to take them away but rather, they decide to take an internal mourning that never ends, but what if it consumes them until they faint. The disciples of Jesus were still stunned by the death of the Master, when they had to wake up to the new reality that they had to live: The Resurrection of Jesus Christ.

"THUS HAVING JESUS ​​RESURRECTED IN THE MORNING, ON THE FIRST DAY OF THE WEEK, MARÍA MAGDALENA, FROM WHOM HE HAD CAST SEVEN DEMONS, FIRST APPEARED."

It does not matter the process that was accompanying us throughout life. Maybe it was a lifestyle full of drugs, alcohol, sex, theft, lies and I could go on the list, but once Jesus Christ is resurrected in our hearts, we are able to transmit the truth of the Kingdom of Heaven. In other words, nothing from our past should stop us from bringing the good news of salvation to all humanity as Mary Magdalene did.

"As she went, he made it known to those who had been with him, that they were sad and crying."

Mark 16.10

Despite her past, she was used by God to bring faith and hope to all disciples who were devastated and overwhelmed. They were encouraged by Mary Magdalene, a useful instrument in the hands of God. And we, are we letting our past limit us? Are we bringing the good news of salvation to everyone who is depressed, distressed, and anxious in this society?

AN ARDUAL TASK

The hardest thing about any venture is getting started.

IT is disconcerting to talk to a pessimistic person. They do not know what it is to get out of the comfort zone. They never outgrow themselves. They do not aspire to anything in life. What is  more, they have already failed without starting anything. You cannot count on them for anything because there is no fun for them. There are so many ties and ties that they have that they do not even realise how much they are missing because of the lifestyle they are supporting. And of course, when they have to live a serious circumstance, it is very difficult for them to get ahead.

"WHEN THE DAY OF REST WAS PASSED, MARY MAGDALENE, MARY THE MOTHER OF JACOB, AND SALOME, BUY AROMATIC SPICES TO GO AND ANOINT HIM."

Today we read a good example of improvement despite the arduous task they had to carry out. The two Maryann and Salome, after the death of their Master and friend, who had been brutally murdered, certainly from the human point of view, wish to go and anoint his dead as a sign of honor and love. Definitely, this arduous task is not for everyone. We cannot be fainthearted to take away the great blessings of God, we must have courage and character to make amends at the right times.

As Jews they were to keep the Sabbath. And although this day ended itself Saturday after six in the afternoon, they waited until dawn to do things right. What is the use of our ears if we do not want to listen?

IF I had to qualify human errors, I would consider idolatry the worst of them. When we properly understand the definition of idolatry, we find: The biblical meaning of idolatry refers in biblical terms to the worship of a God who is false or who is replacing the one who is true. This term also means that someone may be worshiping foreign divinities, or artificial creations instead of the true creator. So, I am an idolater when I convert the image or essence of God to my image or desire without taking into account who he really is. For example people who consider that God should act in a specific way and if he does not get angry with him, they are really idolaters. Because they really want God to do what their hearts dictate, even if they are good deeds. That God's plans go out of the expected health or economic conventions, causes human beings to become that "god" to their liking, desire or whim to do their own thing, thus becoming idolaters.

"THEN THE VEIL OF THE TEMPLE WAS TORN IN TWO, FROM TOP TO BOTTOM."

It may be that God allows people to experience tough situations as in the case of Job. In other cases, we will see that the adversary asks us to shake us and make us fall and thus lose our faith in God. But, be that as it may, when the heart of the human being is pruned hard as a rock and does not want to recognise what God says by the advice, nor does it accept what the written prophecies say, then it is there, it is that precise moment when, something It has to be torn in our lives so that we recognise our need for God and the power of the Kingdom of God, therefore through experimentation we will listen to what God tells us. In this case, the veil was torn from top to bottom, but on a personal level: what do we need him to break in our lives to recognise that only God is sufficient and necessary for us?

"AND THE CENTURION THAT WAS IN FRONT OF HIM, SEEING THAT AFTER CRYING IT HAD EXPIRED SO, SAID: TRULY THIS MAN WAS THE SON OF GOD."

Two portentous events happened when Jesus of Nazareth died:

1- darkness covered the atmosphere globally.

2- the veil that separated the holy place from the most holy place, was torn from top to bottom.

This was lived and experienced by the Roman centurion. But he was no further than the reality that all of us live today. We need something to break in us to come out of the deep darkness and recognise that Jesus of Nazareth is the authentic Son of God. He died for each one of us to give us the eternal life that he promised us and that he is already at the disposal of all those who wish to recognise his lordship and majesty.

WHAT HAPPENED?

Around everything we do we have witnesses.

SOMETIMES we are quite innocent in our actions. That is, not alone aware of the consequences of everything we do. For example, I have not seen any criminal die in peace and surrounded by their own, in any case, the end of these, they are usually very sad. Another example that we can give is that person who is always thinking misfortunes, cursing and doing nothing for the good. Therefore, in life, nothing will work for them. Let us see what Job said: What I most feared came over me; What scared me the most happened to me. I do not find peace or quiet; I find no rest, only agitation. But, in the case of Jesus of Nazareth, what happened? Why if he was a saint, how did so much evil happen to him in his life?

“THE CHRIST, KING OF ISRAEL, DESCEND NOW FROM THE CROSS, SO THAT WE MAY SEE AND BELIEVE. THOSE WHO WERE CRUCIFIED WITH HIM ALSO REVILED HIM."

Everything that happened to Jesus of Nazareth was so that none of us that if we had to live it, we would not have to go through that bad drink that he lived. Something that we can also see today is that this type of mockery is made to God. Let me explain: on many occasions brothers approach me to pray for them, but their requests leave much to be desired because, they are very innocent, or they pretend to mock God. They are people who do not work or strive in life and pretend that manna falls from heaven. But this type of prayer has nothing to do with the feeling of heaven, because faith is something that cultivates and its consequences are cultivated.

"WHEN THE SIXTH HOUR CAME, THERE WAS DARKNESS OVER ALL THE EARTH UNTIL THE NINTH HOUR."

Mark 15. 33

It is said that all hell covered the greatest act of sacrifice for humanity and because of this, the whole earth was darkened. The hells as witnesses, were willing to see that spectacle as an act of defeat in front of the Heavens. But the reality was different, because of the acts of Jesus of Nazareth, he was able to reap the correct harvest, billions of souls recovered throughout the ages. God promised and God fulfilled through Jesus Christ, so that we can enjoy the peace and tranquility that only God can give us.

Let us not expect everything in our life to be voluntary.

 

 

                                             WE  can come to imagine that we are walking on a path. As we move forward, the natural loads increase: for example, we need a pole to support us. We are looking for something that will help us collect water. But, at some point in this happy walk, we have to camp, find a suitable terrain and collect enough wood to make a fire and spend the night. Suddenly, when we have all this collected and we are ready to enjoy a well-deserved rest. But, just at that moment, a stranger appears, lost, cold, tired and dehydrated. What are we going to do? Are we just going to turn our backs on him and ignore him like we can? Are we going to run as if things really weren't with us? In the long journey of life, this is what will constantly happen to us, but if we are Christians and wish to follow the model of Christ, where he sacrificed himself for others to the point of giving his life for all humanity even knowing that, many of us will turn our backs on him and run away as if the matter of the Kingdom of God was not discussed with us.

God does not need us to make a greater sacrifice than that made by his Son, Jesus Christ, that is, we do not need to be wasting ourselves, or punishing ourselves for that, much less make any specific pilgrimage to "win" his favour. What is clear is that, on certain occasions, the sacrifices will come out of obligation. And in this situation and if we are responsible enough, we will only accept what it imposes on us. Obviously, there will be a tendency to fight even with God and they will not do anything or out of obligation, but even for them, God loves them and they are waiting for them. The good thing about all this is that we have this divine promise behind us: You have not been through any test that is not humanly bearable. And you can trust in God, who will not let you endure trials that are harsher than you can bear. On the contrary, when the test comes, God will also give them the way out of it, so that they can bear it.

 

"AND THEY TAKEN HIM TO A PLACE CALLED GOLGOTH, WHICH IS TRANSLATED: PLACE OF THE SKULL."

 

Mark 11. 22

Jesus of Nazareth not only carried the cost of what would be his own execution weapon, but he also carried with him the freedom of all humanity. At that time, he was tired, injured, dehydrated, mentally exhausted, in short, Jesus sincerely needed Simon's help to reach his final destination, his sacrifice for all humanity on the Mount of Golgotha. God does not need our help, much less does he need third parties to help him, but sometimes to reach a heart that needs it he will use us just as he did with Simon of Cyrene. What would our salvation be if Simon had not carried the Cross? How many times have we inadvertently impacted souls and thus carried a heavy cross uphill to someone else's Golgotha?
