Fighting for what we want and want against this system is very exhausting.
UNDERSTANDING the limit between your rights and my rights is key to having a healthy
coexistence among human beings. For this, God from the dawn of humanity gave
laws and mandates to know how far we can and must go. Later, through Moses, he
dictated a decalogue of good socio-cultural coexistence, because the Israelites
had lived so many years as slaves that they had lost even that cultural
identity. Today those commandments accompany us, whether we want to recognize
them or not. When we look at the decalogues of good social behaviour, we see in
a hidden way and in other cases in a tacit way the commandments given by God.
Something that we must be quite clear is, the fulfilment of those commandments
does not make us children of God, nor saved, nor disciples of Christ, but they
help us to have a good social coexistence.
"You know the commandments: Do not
adulterate. Do not kill. Don't steal. Do not bear false witness. Do not
disappoint. Honour your father and mother."
Mark 10. 19
All society, Christian or not, must understand
the importance of preserving these limits that make us live in harmony.
Precisely when these decalogues are broken, violence, lawsuits and disputes
arise. Behind all war is the violation of human rights. For this reason, it is
important to emphasize the importance of rediscovering God in our midst,
evangelizing and demonstrating that Christ lives in us.
"He then, answering, said to him: Master,
all this I have kept since my youth."
Mark 10. 20
All human beings have the right to be well
educated and preserve those good values that for millennia have protected and
covered us so that we do not exceed ourselves in front of anyone. We must
restore in our lives and allow the Mind of Christ to rule our hearts, seeking
to please God by following his holy and perfect will, just as Jesus of Nazareth
taught us to live.
