DEVOCIONAL CRISTIANO -TÚ LO DICES

DEVOCIONAL CRISTIANO

Marcos 15. 1 RV60

CHRISTIAN DEVOTIONAL - YOU SAY IT

CHRISTIAN DEVOTIONAL

 YOU SAY IT

When they want to accuse us, they will resort to any kind of trickery.

I  HAVE had the opportunity to see several documentaries about the trial of Jesus of Nazareth. I have also seen some about the physical suffering he had to undergo which we will talk about in another devotional. Regarding the trial, it was plagued with irregularities, which made it clearly an illegal trial. But, the fate of Jesus Christ from his birth was cast, his final destination was the Cross. Theologically speaking, Jesus of Nazareth perfectly embodied the suffering Messiah spoken by the Prophet Isaiah: despised and rejected among men, a man of sorrows, experienced in brokenness; and since we hid his face from him, he was despised, and we did not esteem him. Certainly he bore our diseases, and suffered our pains; and we considered him to be whipped, wounded by God, and beaten down. But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our sins; the punishment of our peace was upon him, and by his stripes we are healed. All of us have gone astray like sheep, each of us has turned his way; but God carried on him the sin of all of us. He was distressed, and afflicted, he did not open his mouth; as a lamb he was led to the slaughter; and as a sheep before the shearers of him, he was speechless, and did not open his mouth. By prison and by judgment he was taken away; and his generation, who will tell? For he was cut off from the land of the living, and by the rebellion of my people he was smitten. And he made his grave with the wicked, but with the rich was in his death; although he never did evil, nor was there any deceit in his mouth. And for all this that the prophet predicted eight hundred centuries earlier, Jesus of Nazareth, upon rising, became Jesus Christ.

"VERY MORNING, THE MAIN PRIESTS HAVING COUNCIL WITH THE ELDERS, WITH THE SCRIBES AND WITH THE WHOLE COUNCIL, THEY TAKEN JESUS ATTED, AND DELIVERED PILATO TO HIM."

Mark 15. 1

Something that we must bear in mind is that Jesus of Nazareth was born as the Son of God, but by surrendering himself despite the injustices committed against him, he made him become the Messiah and the Christ. Both very similar theological concepts were developed by him, by his own will and of course, under the guidance of the Holy Spirit. Another factor to take into account on the part of Jesus of Nazareth was the absolute and permanent dependence on carrying out the will of the Heavenly Father. Jesus spent entire nights conversing and searching in his presence. Since he was a child, he sought him out and spoke of the truth about him in all the places that he was: And it came to pass that three days later they found him in the temple, sitting in the midst of the doctors of the law, listening to them and questioning them. And all who heard him marvelled at his intelligence and his responses.

“PILATO ASKED HIM: ARE YOU THE KING OF THE JEWS? ANSWERING HE, SAID: YOU SAY SO.”

Mark 11. 14

You say so, that is, even if the world is upon us, the truth will always precede us. If we try to follow the path that led Jesus of Nazareth to become Jesus Christ, that is, seek the guidance of the Spirit, depend exclusively on the orders of the Heavenly Father, and lead a life of permanent communion with Christ, it will allow us to see that the Truth which is Jesus Christ himself: Jesus said to him: I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father except through me. So he will give us freedom and security, day after day.

CHRISTIAN DEVOTIONAL - THIRD WARNING

CHRISTIAN DEVOTIONAL

 THIRD WARNING

God cannot deny himself, nor is he a man not to comply.

THE  fact that we are estranged from God does not mean that our responsibilities are over. In any case, we should feel uncomfortable because we are not complying with the mandates given by God. Many of us have believed that we can make a god in our image and likeness, others consider that we can interpret the Word of God as we please. Says the adage that Elvis Presley used to sing to deny the calling he had as a child from God. We could consider the same of singers like Katty Perry and Madonna who began their journey with the choirs of their church, but with the desire for fame, they have even denied their faith. In the same way, we can see great ministers of the gospel, fall into immoralities by their own desires destroying everything that God gave them. And although I will use a bad example, I remember when I read the book: The Fifth Column: there they showed us the unfortunate testimony of a preacher who at night and in the hotel, was an unrecognizable person, with everything and that, this character was an instrument of God for salvation and bring salvation to souls. Because although some play with the gifts that God gave them, the gifts and talents are irrevocable.

“BUT HE DENIED AGAIN. AND SHORTLY AFTER, THOSE WHO WERE THERE SAID AGAIN TO PEDRO: TRULY YOU ARE THEIRS; BECAUSE YOU ARE GALILEO, AND YOUR WAY OF SPEAKING IS SIMILAR TO THEIRS.”

Mark 14. 70

We can deny God if we want, but once we have dealt with him and with the Holy Spirit, we will manifest the divine DNA that God injected us at the moment of our creation: Then God formed the human being from the dust of the earth, and blew in his nose the breath of life, and the human being was a living being. Peter, without clearly understanding the denial of the Son of God that he was doing, was reaching the limit of his own resistance. For a moment we can put on Pedro's sandals: can we imagine the physical and emotional stress that he is enduring right now? At some point he will have to explode with all those emotions that are causing this to live this third warning in Peter's life. And how should we fit this third warning? How are we denying Christ in our lives? Are we being faithful to the gifts and talents that God has given us?

“THEN HE BEGAN TO CURSE, AND SWEAR: I DO NOT KNOW THIS MAN WHO YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT. AND THE ROOSTER CROWNED THE SECOND TIME. THEN PEDRO REMEMBERED THE WORDS JESUS HAD SAID: BEFORE THE ROOSTER SINGS TWICE, YOU WILL DENY ME THREE TIMES. AND THINKING ABOUT IT, HE WEPT."

Mark 14. 71-72

Let us briefly remember: Because irrevocable are the gifts and the calling of God. Jesus Christ himself was the one who said to Peter: And he said to them: Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men. So, Peter reconsidered and repented of what he was doing. Those emotions paid off and that's why he cried. And this is a good example of when we meditate to change, regretfully reflect and decide to change. Here is the radical difference between the denial of Peter and the denial - through betrayal - of Judas. Both sinned under the same issue, yet one repented for reflecting and the other consumed by bitterness committed suicide. And what are we going to do? Until when are we going to believe the lies of darkness? What do we need to repent and give ourselves totally to Christ?

God bless you.
