Let us put all our trust in God.

WE cannot imagine the amount of adulterated information that reaches us and that we assume as sound doctrine in quotation marks, due to the fact that we do not invest time in understanding what the author really wanted to say, be it old or New Testament. This is negligence on our part. This is how today we see a resurgence of Neo-Judaism in the midst of our Western culture. And I say resurface, because this is not something new, precisely the Apostle Paul had to make a strong opposition to this doctrine that pretends to make a sandwich with ingredients between the Law and the freedom that Jesus Christ gave us on the Cross of Calvary.

 

“THUS, IF WHILE HER HUSBAND IS LIVING SHE JOINS ANOTHER MALE, SHE SHALL BE CALLED AN ADULTERESS; BUT IF HER HUSBAND DIES OF HIM, SHE IS FREE FROM THAT LAW, SO THAT, IF SHE JOINS ANOTHER HUSBAND, SHE SHALL NOT BE AN ADULTERESS.”

Romans 7.3

 

The Gospel of Christ, presented by the Apostle Paul, strongly opposes this counterproductive doctrine for all beings. Neo-Judaism tries to make us return to the chains that bound us and that the Anointing of the Holy Spirit undoes. But as C. Dickens said: "the human being is an animal of customs", we easily adapt to what should not oppress us. Being tied to the Law does not allow us to bear fruit in life. When the Gospel of Christ comes into our lives, these should be some of the fruits that the Holy Spirit of Christ makes us demonstrate that he really governs our lives: But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness , goodness, faith, meekness, temperance; against such things there is no law.

 

 

"SO YOU ALSO, MY BROTHERS, HAVE DIED TO THE LAW THROUGH THE BODY OF CHRIST, SO THAT YOU MAY BE ANOTHER'S, WHO RISEN FROM THE DEAD, SO THAT WE BEAR FRUIT FOR GOD."

So, bringing the Gospel of Christ means that we must necessarily bear fruit and that fruit must be seen by everyone. In other words, no matter how much we ensure that we bear fruit in our lives, but yes, the people around us: our families, jobs, studies, etc. they do not see that fruit, very possibly it is because we are not really demonstrating the Holy Spirit of God. Let us remember that, thanks to him, to the Holy Spirit, we live in such a way that we evidence the Mind of Christ.

Understanding what they tell us helps us grow.

IT is so easy to say that we have all sinned. But getting the message to “everyone” so that we can change our way of thinking is not an easy task. We read the word sin in Greek as αμαρτία amartía. Therefore, this word amartía is defined as: failure of the goal, not hitting the target. On the other hand, we will find in Hebrew the word sin is jattáʼth, חטא which also means: to err in the sense of not reaching an exact goal, path, objective or target. So if in the OT or in the NT, we find the word sin, we lead to the sense of erring or failing in a given goal. For example, if our goal was to reach London, but we reached Salisbury, we have sinned or missed our goal.

"AND NOT ONLY THIS, BUT WE ALSO GLORIOUS IN GOD THROUGH THE LORD OUR JESUS ​​CHRIST, FOR WHOM WE HAVE NOW RECEIVED RECONCILIATION."

Romans 5.11

The Gospel of Christ offers us the answer as to why we have all sinned. But at the same time, it gives us the opportunity to understand that the payment of that error has already been solved by Jesus Christ on the Cross of Calvary and that this time, it reunites us with God, allowing direct access to his presence for the love that God feels us; we are the culmination of God's creation. Therefore, everything that separates us from his presence has to be solved.

We know that God's mathematics is quite different from what we understand. In Jesus Christ we have salvation and justification. It is enough for us to believe God and live all that he has already given us.

Let us consider those who are in the middle of an extramarital affair, do they consider the damage they are doing to their partner and their children? Jesus Christ said: He who has ears to hear, let him hear. Human beings are quick to say yes without understanding and understanding what is being done. But the difficult thing about this whole situation is that we tend to blame others rather than assume our own responsibility. Therefore, no human being can be considered just before God, we can only consider ourselves worthy, because Jesus Christ dignifies and justifies us by his action on the Cross of Calvary.

The Gospel of Christ offers us the alternative of changing our mentality. For this, the Gospel of Christ reminds us: For who has known the mind of the Lord, to instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ. We have the Mind of Christ thanks to the Holy Spirit that dwells in each one of us. We must accept Christ in our hearts to rule every aspect or area of ​​our being, and this is the only solution for our lives.

This is our hope, that God is aware of our problems and although we do not want to listen and obey, he has already paid for each one of us. Metanoia is the Greek word for repent. And Metanoia refers to the need for a change in mentality. So, making the Gospel of Christ a reality in our lives is to repent of our mistakes and sins and change our mentality to assume the Mind of Christ that is already in each one of us.

                                             TODAY we are the face of God in the midst of this society. One day in the congregation a woman approached me with a complaint and it was this: "I have never seen God." At that precise moment and guided by the Spirit of Christ, I led this girl to the bathroom. There with great respect and care, I placed him in front of the mirror. I started with a simple question: can you see God now? He logically told me that no, that whoever was watching would never come close to the concept we have of God. Ok, I replied. Could you smile and look at yourself again, I replied. She did it. Now you know that it is you and that you are smiling because you are observing yourself in the mirror, but when you are not in front of a mirror, who assures you that your smile causes the friendly effect that it should produce? Okay, now you can spread your hands as if to give something to your reflection in the mirror, I said. And she without question, she did. And I asked him: What face are you making now? She replied that it was one of satisfaction. To which I answered again: Are you sure that you always have that same face in front of the people around you? And who assures you that you manage to convey the feeling of well-being with your smile when you are blessing others? No one answered myself. Well, in the same way, and even if we don't want to, the only solution for our lives is to see God in each of the people around us. In the same way, the only guarantee we have that we are doing the right thing to bless others, and this will be through the power of the Holy Spirit acting in us and for us. In this way, we will know that we are allowing him to work in us to produce in others the necessary changes in each of their lives.

All Christians are called to be holy and to manifest the power of God through his Holy Spirit. But just like the sister that I had to teach him, we are the ones who limit the power of God and we do not stop, nor can we see it in ourselves, nor do we see it in others. One of the obstacles that we find here is with the concept that we have about holiness. For some it is a goal to discharge that is simply impossible to meet. Therefore, they abandon the Path because they are not able to continue in that supposed holiness. For others it is supposedly a goal already achieved that they want all human beings to follow. But as far as I can understand, both concepts are wrong. Holiness can only be had by God. Therefore, we can only live holiness when God lives it for us. Another matter is being set apart for him.

But our faith can characterize us. Surely, on the subject of holiness, which we have already lost a long time ago; I the first will leave much to be desired in the others. Our faith must be such that it is an example for all those who are seeking God. They may not know us for our holiness, but nothing stops us from being recognised for our faith and love for God and the extension of the Kingdom of Christ.
