CHRISTIAN DEVOTIONAL - THEY REBEL AGAINST GOD

 CHRISTIAN DEVOTIONAL

THEY REBEL AGAINST GOD

As Christians, we must take care of earthly problems. The problems of eternity will be taken care of by God.

IT is very easy to fall into the trap of complacency. That is to say, many Christians find it difficult to live a proper lifestyle, because they consider that feeling attacked, persecuted or criticised is a way of gaining merit before our God, but this lifestyle is counterproductive, therefore, it is not something worth imitating. I know that many biblical texts advise what to do when we are being persecuted and that we can cry out to God for the rest that God gives us. For me, I understand that the problem is that when we as Christians sit on the Throne of God to judge, criticise and condemn the rest of mankind, we earn trouble and enemies unnecessarily, thus starting persecution and harassment towards us, but it was provoked by ourselves. Then, before God and the congregation, we seek His "approval" because, supposedly, the world is unjust and rejects the message of the Good News of Salvation. But, looking at the above, that persecution was instigated by our complacency and has nothing to do with the real persecution that exists against God and against the Gospel of Christ.

“When they heard it, they lifted up their voices with one accord in prayer to God: "Sovereign Gon, creator of heaven and earth, of the sea and all that is in them, you, through the Holy Spirit, have given us the power to persecute God and the Gospel of Christ,

through the Holy Spirit you said on the lips of our father David, your servant, 'Why do the nations revolt and the peoples conspire in vain?”

Acts 4, 24-25

Let us pray together: Heavenly Father, I cannot deny that I am robbing you of your glory and majesty, for, I constantly sit on your Throne of Justice and impart my justice, criticism and condemnation, but in the Name of Christ, I ask your forgiveness for my attitude and I beg you, help me to think and act like Jesus of Nazareth who did know how to act correctly and until the last moment, kept his calm and answered the woman: "even I do not condemn you" and thus, saved a soul and gave her the freedom she so desperately needed.

Let's be clear if there is a hellish work to destroy the Church of Christ. In the same way, many demonic forces are swarming to stop the power of the Gospel of Christ from advancing and/or blocking, because they are simply not interested in seeing the salvation of souls. A good example of this is the current laws that call evil as good and good as evil, distorting God's original image of His creation in opposition to this, the Church of Christ must act against it through prayer, fasting and vigil, thus, the whole Church of Christ must rise up and oppose it so that, from the heavenly spheres, the necessary spiritual wars are waged (let us remember that spiritual wars are legal judgments and not angels fighting with clean swords against demons) therefore, just as it happened to the apostles, we will have to endure persecution for the rebellion of the nations. Thus, when it is because of our bad habits that we earn persecution, we should not complain, but change the way we behave, for, whether we like it or not, we are priests who represent God before human beings, just as we represent all the souls of mankind before God.

“The kings of the earth rebel and the rulers plot against God and against his Anointed.”

Acts 4, 26

Let us pray together: Jesus of Nazareth, you are the best example of what to do and how to act rightly before God and all mankind. In Your Holy Name, I beg You to allow me to expand my mentality and thus, allow Your Mind to act in me, for I am tired of doing things my own way, but rather, I desire to do the will of my Heavenly Father which is good, pleasing and perfect; thereby, reaching more souls and thus, bringing peace to this humanity that needs it so much, for You Jesus of Nazareth, gave Yourself for all humanity and so that all human beings, today enjoy Your earthly and super-earthly salvation.

Amen.

From the pastor of Way of Life, Robert Barriger I learned: "As Christians let us make tables that unite and tear down the walls that we make to separate mankind from God". In the New Testament, there is a word that is in disuse on our part and that is Pontiff (Heb. 4:14). The word Pontiff is only found in the Old King James Version. Today, we speak of the High Priest. But, for that matter, the Pontiff is the bridge builder. What a pity that today, it has become obsolete to be bridge builders, to be "priests" in many cases hyper-religious that only hinder the good work of God over all mankind. Let us then be pontiffs, turning away from judgements, criticisms and condemnations of mankind, thus avoiding the opportunity to be persecuted and attacked for our evil ways. For only hell and demons rebel against God.

CHRISTIAN DEVOTIONAL - MORE THAN 40 YEARS

 CHRISTIAN DEVOTIONAL

MORE THAN 40 YEARS

Harvests are lost due to a lack of knowledge of the times.

HOW LONG have you been waiting for an answer from God about a specific prayer? In the book of Galatians, the Apostle Paul clarifies that if we do not get tired of doing good, let's say pray, seek God, cry out, fast and/or work for that blessing (be careful, I'm not saying that we have to help God), in due time we will reap the harvest. In any case, in the middle part of the text, the Apostle recognises the possibility of fainting while waiting for that answer. And it is very natural for human beings to despair because of the answer that does not come. Let us consider nothing more closely than the fact that depression manifests itself by living anchored to the past; In the same way, anxiety is experienced because one does not have confidence in the future. Therefore, this makes us understand that our inability to wait for God's response leads us to live in extreme situations and in many cases, we miss out on the blessing itself because we are not in the place and moment of the blessing. Here it is worth remembering that God is never late, much less he is ahead. In any case and with complete certainty, God always arrives and gives his answer on time.

“Then, after threatening them, they released them, not finding any way to punish them, for the sake of the people, because they all glorified God for what had been done, since the man on whom this miracle of healing had been done had more forty years old!”

Acts 4, 21-22

Let us pray together: Heavenly Father, only your grace, love and mercy are what sustains us day after day. On certain occasions, we feel like giving up on the goals and objectives we have set for ourselves. Sadly, we thus miss out on the blessing designed by you for each of us. Therefore, in the Name of Jesus of Nazareth, we ask you to give us the strength to wait for the opportune time of your blessing.

Possibly this man was waiting for the blessing of being healthy for at least thirty-five years. I put this date considering that as a child, he would have been aware of his difficulties walking around the age of five when he could not go out to the yard to run with his friends or play ball as he normally would. Perhaps, from that moment on, he would begin to cry out to God for healing. As expected, this human being, not seeing that miracle fulfilled, only had the option of following the mandates of the system: begging to live and being an outcast, without job or family opportunities that would help him enjoy life. But, God had never forgotten about him, much less the prayers he made daily at the door of Solomon's Temple, the place where they took him to beg.

“When they were released, they came to their people and told everything that the chief priests and elders had told them.”

Acts 4, 23

Let us pray together: Jesus of Nazareth, you have manifested yourself again and again. The best thing is that you never stop surprising us. Please Jesus Christ, just as through the apostles you raised a human being from an unworthy condition, I ask you to observe and fulfil all the cries that I make before you for each of my children, my partner, my home and of each of my family members, so that we may have a personal and intimate encounter with you and thus enjoy a dignified life, just as you wish us to have, guided and instructed by your Holy Spirit. Amen.

There is a truth, as a theologian, you can refute all my questions. However, one can never deny the miracles that God has done in my life: he has restored my marriage a couple of times or three times, and, my children are well and healthy today. He healed me from a heart attack. He is healing me from diabetes. It has supported me financially in impossible times, I have experienced death as a solution to health problems in people I love. Therefore, today and just as the apostles did, I run to you to tell you what has happened. I do it through these writings, daily prayers, through theological tips, through the videos I make, through preaching in churches and so on, a very long etc...

I only hope that this message questions our way of thinking and that we change so that we see the power of Christ manifested in each of us through his Holy Spirit and His Mind acting in each of us.

God bless you. Remember to share this text with as many people as possible.

CHRISTIAN DEVOTIONAL - IMPOSSIBLE TO SHUT UP

 CHRISTIAN DEVOTIONAL

IMPOSSIBLE TO SHUT UP

I only obey divine commands.

FIRST of all, I want to explain my absence for almost two months without posting a devotional. Among the many personal obligations that I have, this semester at the university has been very dense, and if I want to perform adequately, I must concentrate my thoughts on doing good work, since, in theological studies today, a lot will depend on what I teach tomorrow. However, I cannot deny that every Monday, Wednesday and Friday, my desire to write demanded the need to return to study the truths that the Holy Spirit speaks in my ear. Therefore, it is no coincidence that the title of this one is: “impossible to shut up” because inside me, the need to do so boiled. Because the owner of this gift of writing, the Holy Spirit, makes every pore of my body breathe before the desire to speak the greatest truth in the world: “Heavenly Father loves us and is longing to have an intimate and personal relationship with each one of us".

“But Peter and John replied: Is it right before God to obey you instead of him? Judge for yourselves!”

Acts 4, 19

Let us pray together: Heavenly Father, I long for the presence of your grace in my life. My Holy God, I stand before your altar to confess who I am, but, at the same time, and despite my sin, I recognise that if it were not for the blood of Christ, today I would be lost and without any possibility, therefore, a thousand thank you for salvation and eternal life.

In the first verse, we find the wise response from the apostles to their accusers. It would be prudent to remember that they are before the Sanhedrin because they have healed a handicapped person in the Name of Jesus of Nazareth and that they, that is, the council of religious, wish to silence them and prevent them from healing any more in the Name of Jesus. Hence, they, Peter and John, demanded that it is not fair to disobey God and therefore, if they were willing, they should become judges, even over God's decisions.

“We cannot stop talking about what we have seen and heard.”

Acts 4, 20

Let us pray together: Jesus of Nazareth, if you tell me to move forward, I will. If you ask me to stop, I will. If you ask me to climb a mountain, I will do it. If in any case, you ask me to descend an abyss, I will do the same because I have studied your examples in the Bible and I know that your obedience to the Father led you to the death and with it, the triumph over death, hell and Satan. Amen.

During these two months, I have not been silent for a single moment about the Kingdom of Heaven. Although it seems like a lot of time and that we have all the time in the world, in reality, life is too short to ignore a lifetime of constant blessings from God. Finally, when one has a true and fruitful relationship with Jesus of Nazareth, it is impossible to keep silent about this truth so that many other people come to know him and with it, all human beings enjoy the blessing of being children of God.

God bless you. Remember to share this text with as many people as possible.
