WITHOUT ANY SENSE
Freedom is not lost, it is given in to the whims of a few.
GOD will always answer our requests and prayers.
The problem arises when that answer is not what we were looking for. God is
faithful and true and if he has promised us something, he will sincerely keep
it. However, many of us will not see the fulfilment of many promises simply
because God never said them and if he said them they were meant for us. It is
very easy to figure out and pretend to say this promise or desire before God is
for my life and we even made a pact with God for that promise, but God is not
obliged to fulfil it, let us remember that he is a just Judge and cannot do
injustices by solve our capricious desires. I remember the example I read of Rd.
David Paul Cho, the story is more or less like this, some young people from the
congregation wanted to go to a special service. To get there they had to cross
a river. But the waters of the river were high and these boys, claiming the
promise to walk on the water as Pedro did, advanced through these turbulent waters,
they sank and drowned. Four daring young men died who never understood the
process of faith and the fulfilment of biblical promises.
"Then James and John, sons of Zebedee,
approached him, saying: Teacher, we would like you to do to us what we ask."
Mark 10. 35
Interpreting the Bible is not an easy task.
Getting people and theologians to agree on how to understand a specific passage
is honestly a job like no other. Many Christians unduly seizing biblical texts
manipulate them in their favour and thus make a god and a bible in their image
and do things according to their capricious hearts. Psalm 37.4 says: Delight
yourself also in the Lord, And He will give you the desires of your heart. And
from this text, many make their own theology and pretend that God will attend
to them as he did with David, but they are not willing to pay the price of
living a life of worshipers and servants of God as was the Psalmist David.
"He said to them: What do you want me to
do for you?"
Mark 10. 36
God is willing to answer all of our prayers, He
does not shut up in front of our request, but he will always do it according to
His will, knowing that it is the best for each one of us and thus, taking us to
a higher level than we do. We considered, because God always plans greater than
ours.
