As much as we fight with God, he is sovereign.

THE fight we constantly have is against ourselves. Breaking with the mental schemes or structures that anchor us to the past, on many occasions, becomes a very steep slope. I continue to fight against impatience and anger. And not surprisingly, I am close to getting over it. Under this questioning itself, once again I ask myself: why does God use me to extend his Kingdom? But the thing does not stop here, because he himself affirms and confirms that he will continue to do so, because he glorifies himself in my weakness and will make true the phrase that says: I am sure that God, who began to do his good work in you, will carry it to a good end until the day that Jesus Christ returns.

"OR DOES NOT THE POTTER HAVE POWER OVER THE CLAY, TO MAKE OUT OF THE SAME MASS ONE VESSEL FOR HONOR AND ANOTHER FOR DISHONOUR?"

Today we can understand the words of Jesus of Nazareth when he said: My Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass from me; but not as I want, but as you. However, the truth is that we are where we are because of God's grace, mercy, and goodness. Jesus Christ, the Son of God, did not skimp on being equal to God to give his life for humanity, that is, from the very heavens the Father could give the order to the darkness and the adversary to stop in this spiritual war against him. human being. But, far from this decision, he assumed a responsibility that did not correspond to him and thus, on the Cross of Calvary, Jesus Christ recognized the greatness of God the Father and as a suffering servant (read it in Isaiah) he surrendered. He recognized, God is the owner of his body and everything he owned: the ministry, the possessions, the relationships, none of this belonged to him, therefore, to the Father, he had to return.

Today we can continue to kill Jesus Christ when we rob him of his glory by not wanting to recognize that everything belongs to him. Today we can remove God from the Throne of justice when we ourselves practice our justice. Today we allow ourselves to believe that we are the owners of creation and not its administrators. God has no problem with us properly managing creation. But the fact of wanting to steal the glory from God to put on it is what can turn into idolatry, which is totally contrary to him.

 

"And taking him, they killed him, and cast him out of the vineyard."

What are we going to do? To God belongs the glory and all our life in an integral way. Are we going to continue fighting against God and are we not going to recognize that everything belongs to God because he is the Creator?
