Quién este libre de pecado que tire la primera piedra.

CONOZCO un pastor que tiene una mala costumbre de juzgar a todo el mundo. Y su reflexión sobre las personas la culmina con la frase: “él o ella, no es trigo limpio”. Durante muchos años, procuré analizar esta dichosa frase y con rigor quirúrgico, comprendí que la única manera de entender que un ser humano no es trigo limpio, es porque previamente he sido una persona sin el trigo limpio. Esto me hace recordar la vez que le pidieron a Jesucristo que emitirá un juicio contra una mujer y él sabiamente dijo: Los maestros de la ley y los fariseos llevaron entonces a una mujer sorprendida en adulterio, y poniéndola en medio del grupo le dijeron a Jesús: Maestro, a esta mujer se le ha sorprendido en el acto mismo de adulterio. En la ley Moisés nos ordenó apedrear a tales mujeres. ¿Tú qué dices? Con esta pregunta le estaban tendiendo una trampa, para tener de qué acusarlo. Pero Jesús se inclinó y con el dedo comenzó a escribir en el suelo. Y, como ellos lo acosaban a preguntas, Jesús se incorporó y les dijo: Aquel de ustedes que esté libre de pecado, que tire la primera piedra.

 

 

“¿QUÉ DIREMOS, PUES? ¿LA LEY ES PECADO? EN NINGUNA MANERA. PERO YO NO CONOCÍ EL PECADO SINO POR LA LEY; PORQUE TAMPOCO CONOCIERA LA CODICIA, SI LA LEY NO DIJERA: NO CODICIARÁS.”

Romanos 7.7

 

El Evangelio de Cristo, incorporado en nuestras mentes a través de la Mente de Cristo, nos hace tomar consciencia de nuestra verdadera naturaleza y tendencia hacia el mal. Si, lamentablemente somos así, nos gusta ser rebeldes, anárquicos, problemáticos. Solemos arrepentirnos y de vuelta, volvemos a nuestra tendencia de hacer las cosas errando al blanco. Quizá por ello, el Proverbio dice: Como perro que vuelve a su vómito, Así es el necio que repite su necedad.

 

 

“MAS EL PECADO, TOMANDO OCASIÓN POR EL MANDAMIENTO, PRODUJO EN MÍ TODA CODICIA; PORQUE SIN LA LEY EL PECADO ESTÁ MUERTO.”

 

Romanos 7.8

 

Tomemos ejemplo de Cristo, no juzguemos, porque no estamos en condición de hacerlo contra nadie. El Evangelio de Cristo, nos libera de las ataduras del prejuicio y de los juicios hacia los demás. Este Evangelio, el de Cristo, nos hace comprender que nadie es perfecto delante de Dios, sino que gracias a él, a Jesucristo, estamos justificados, tenemos gracia y misericordia divina, la cual nos acerca al trono de la majestad de Dios.

NEW IN THE SPIRIT

We can be born again.

ON a certain occasion, Jesus of Nazareth met a religious of his time. This human being had many doubts about his doctrine and what he himself preached. Despite being religious, he sincerely sought God because he wanted to please Him and be thankful for all that God had done in his life. Nicodemus finally had a meeting with the Rabbi and this is the most iconic conversation between the two: There was a man from the Pharisees, named Nicodemus, prominent among the Jews. He came to Jesus at night and said: Rabbi, we know that you have come from God as a teacher, because no one can do the signs that you do if God is not with him. Jesus answered and said to him, Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever is not born again cannot see the kingdom of God. Nicodemus said to him: How can a man be born when he is already old? Can he enter a second time into his mother's womb and be born? Jesus replied: Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God.

 

“FOR WHILE WE WERE IN THE FLESH, THE SINFUL PASSIONS WHICH WERE BY LAW WORKED IN OUR MEMBERS BEARING FRUIT UNTO DEATH.”

Romans 7.5

 

Thanks to the action of the Gospel of Christ, that new birth in the spirit can be made present in our lives, when we allow the Holy Spirit to govern our lives, thoughts and, logically, our actions. Perhaps, this is the way to be born again. Probably, being reborn means leaving the way of thinking and acting contrary to what we have been doing. And in this way, we will vivify my saying: “we are the accumulation of our decisions”. If we make bad decisions, we will live a hell of a life and if we make good decisions, we will come closer to living in a permanent Paradise.

 

“BUT NOW WE ARE FREE FROM THE LAW, BECAUSE WE HAVE DIED TO THE ONE TO WHICH WE WERE SUBJECTED, SO THAT WE SERVE UNDER THE NEW REGIME OF THE SPIRIT AND NOT UNDER THE OLD REGIME OF THE LETTER.”

 

Mark 7.6

 

If we sincerely want to lead a lifestyle where the Gospel of Christ comes true, surely it is because we have been born again. Being born again in the Spirit means that we do the same actions, or at least come close, to what Jesus of Nazareth would have done. Hence why, as Christians, we consider that Jesus Christ is our paradigm to follow.

Podemos nacer de nuevo.

EN cierta ocasión, Jesús de Nazaret, se encontró con un religioso de su época. Este ser humano, tenía muchas dudas acerca de su doctrina y de lo que él mismo predicaba. A pesar de ser un religioso, buscaba a Dios sinceramente porque deseaba agradarle y ser agradecido por todo lo que Dios había hecho en su vida. Nicodemo por fin tuvo un encuentro con el Rabí y esta es la conversación mas icónica entre ambos: Había un hombre de los fariseos, llamado Nicodemo, prominente entre los judíos. Este vino a Jesús de noche y le dijo: Rabí, sabemos que has venido de Dios como maestro, porque nadie puede hacer las señales que tú haces si Dios no está con él. Respondió Jesús y le dijo: En verdad, en verdad te digo que el que no nace de nuevo no puede ver el reino de Dios. Nicodemo le dijo: ¿Cómo puede un hombre nacer siendo ya viejo? ¿Acaso puede entrar por segunda vez en el vientre de su madre y nacer? Jesús respondió: En verdad, en verdad te digo que el que no nace de agua y del Espíritu no puede entrar en el reino de Dios.

 

“PORQUE MIENTRAS ESTÁBAMOS EN LA CARNE, LAS PASIONES PECAMINOSAS QUE ERAN POR LA LEY OBRABAN EN NUESTROS MIEMBROS LLEVANDO FRUTO PARA MUERTE.”

Romanos 7.5

 

Gracias a la acción del Evangelio de Cristo, se puede hacer presente en nuestras vidas ese nuevo nacer en el espíritu, cuando permitimos que el Espíritu Santo gobierne nuestras vidas, pensamientos y lógicamente, nuestras acciones. Quizá, esta es la manera de nacer de nuevo. Probablemente, renacer significa dejar la manera de pensar y actuar de manera contraria a lo que veníamos haciendo. Y de este modo, vivificaremos mis dicho: “somos el cúmulo de nuestras decisiones”. Si tomamos malas decisiones, viviremos un infierno de vida y si tomamos buenas decisiones, nos acercaremos a vivir en un permanente Paraíso.

 

 

“PERO AHORA ESTAMOS LIBRES DE LA LEY, POR HABER MUERTO PARA AQUELLA EN QUE ESTÁBAMOS SUJETOS, DE MODO QUE SIRVAMOS BAJO EL RÉGIMEN NUEVO DEL ESPÍRITU Y NO BAJO EL RÉGIMEN VIEJO DE LA LETRA.”

 

Marcos 7.6

 

Si sinceramente deseamos llevar un estilo de vida donde el Evangelio de Cristo se hace realidad, seguramente es porque hemos nacido de nuevo. Nacer de nuevo en el Espíritu significa que hacemos las misma acciones, o por lo menos nos acercamos, a las que hubiera hecho Jesús de Nazaret. De allí qué, como cristianos, consideramos que Jesucristo es nuestro paradigma a seguir.

Let us put all our trust in God.

WE cannot imagine the amount of adulterated information that reaches us and that we assume as sound doctrine in quotation marks, due to the fact that we do not invest time in understanding what the author really wanted to say, be it old or New Testament. This is negligence on our part. This is how today we see a resurgence of Neo-Judaism in the midst of our Western culture. And I say resurface, because this is not something new, precisely the Apostle Paul had to make a strong opposition to this doctrine that pretends to make a sandwich with ingredients between the Law and the freedom that Jesus Christ gave us on the Cross of Calvary.

 

“THUS, IF WHILE HER HUSBAND IS LIVING SHE JOINS ANOTHER MALE, SHE SHALL BE CALLED AN ADULTERESS; BUT IF HER HUSBAND DIES OF HIM, SHE IS FREE FROM THAT LAW, SO THAT, IF SHE JOINS ANOTHER HUSBAND, SHE SHALL NOT BE AN ADULTERESS.”

Romans 7.3

 

The Gospel of Christ, presented by the Apostle Paul, strongly opposes this counterproductive doctrine for all beings. Neo-Judaism tries to make us return to the chains that bound us and that the Anointing of the Holy Spirit undoes. But as C. Dickens said: "the human being is an animal of customs", we easily adapt to what should not oppress us. Being tied to the Law does not allow us to bear fruit in life. When the Gospel of Christ comes into our lives, these should be some of the fruits that the Holy Spirit of Christ makes us demonstrate that he really governs our lives: But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness , goodness, faith, meekness, temperance; against such things there is no law.

 

 

"SO YOU ALSO, MY BROTHERS, HAVE DIED TO THE LAW THROUGH THE BODY OF CHRIST, SO THAT YOU MAY BE ANOTHER'S, WHO RISEN FROM THE DEAD, SO THAT WE BEAR FRUIT FOR GOD."

 

Mark 7.4

 

So, bringing the Gospel of Christ means that we must necessarily bear fruit and that fruit must be seen by everyone. In other words, no matter how much we ensure that we bear fruit in our lives, but yes, the people around us: our families, jobs, studies, etc. they do not see that fruit, very possibly it is because we are not really demonstrating the Holy Spirit of God. Let us remember that, thanks to him, to the Holy Spirit, we live in such a way that we evidence the Mind of Christ.

LLEVEMOS FRUTO

Depositemos toda nuestra confianza en Dios.

NO alcanzamos a imaginar la cantidad de información adulterada que nos llega y que asumimos como sana doctrina entre comillas, por el hecho no invertir tiempo en entender lo que realmente deseaba decir el autor, ya sea vetero o neotestamentario. Esto es una negligencia de parte nuestra. Así es como hoy vemos un resurgir del neojudaismo en medio de nuestra cultura occidental.  Y digo resurgir, porque esto no es algo nuevo, justamente el Apóstol Pablo tuvo que hacer una fuerte oposición a esta doctrina que pretender hacer un sándwich con ingredientes entre la Ley y la libertad que nos dio Jesucristo en la Cruz del Calvario.

 

“ASÍ QUE, SI EN VIDA DEL MARIDO SE UNIERE A OTRO VARÓN, SERÁ LLAMADA ADÚLTERA; PERO SI SU MARIDO MURIERE, ES LIBRE DE ESA LEY, DE TAL MANERA QUE, SI SE UNIERE A OTRO MARIDO, NO SERÁ ADÚLTERA”.

Romanos 7.3

 

El Evangelio de Cristo, presentado por el Apóstol Pablo hace una fuerte oposición a esta doctrina contraproducente para todos los seres. El neojudaismo, pretende hacernos volver a las cadenas que nos ataban y que la Unción del Espíritu Santo deshace. Pero como dijo C. Dickens: “el ser humano es un animal de costumbres”, fácilmente nos adaptamos a lo que no debería oprimirnos. El estar atados a la Ley no nos deja llevar frutos en la vida. Cuando llega el Evangelio de Cristo a nuestras vidas, estos deberían ser algunos de los frutos que el Espíritu Santo de Cristo, nos hace demostrar que él realmente, gobierna nuestras vidas: Mas el fruto del Espíritu es amor, gozo, paz, paciencia, benignidad, bondad, fe, mansedumbre, templanza; contra tales cosas no hay ley.

 

 

“ASÍ TAMBIÉN VOSOTROS, HERMANOS MÍOS, HABÉIS MUERTO A LA LEY MEDIANTE EL CUERPO DE CRISTO, PARA QUE SEÁIS DE OTRO, DEL QUE RESUCITÓ DE LOS MUERTOS, A FIN DE QUE LLEVEMOS FRUTO PARA DIOS”.

 

Marcos 7.4

 

Entonces, llevar el Evangelio de Cristo, significa que necesariamente debemos llevar fruto y ese fruto, tiene que ser visto por todos. Es decir, que por más que aseguremos que llevamos frutos en nuestras vidas, pero si, las personas que nos rodean: nuestras familias, trabajos, estudios, etc. no ven ese fruto, muy posiblemente sea porque en realidad no estamos demostrando al Espíritu Santo de Dios. Recordemos que, gracias a él, al Espíritu Santo, es que vivimos de tal manera qué, evidenciamos la Mente de Cristo.

Why be tied to something that does us a lot of harm?

IT is amazing to see how the best example of our relationship with God is marriage. Our redeemer Jesus Christ used many examples drawn from the marriage relationship and families. Following this same example, the Apostle Paul, to speak of the Law that bound the people of Israel, used married life so that we could give it the meaning that it was intended to give. As human beings, a pedagogical aid is very good if we know how to use it appropriately, in this case, we are talking about examples, metaphors and parables.

“ARE YOU NOT IGNORING, BROTHERS (FOR I AM SPEAKING WITH THOSE WHO KNOW THE LAW), THAT THE LAW RULES OVER HUMAN BEINGS AS LONG AS HE LIVES?”

Romans 7.1

The Gospel of Christ frees us from the bonds of the Law. The context regarding the Law of God's people is: for more than four centuries they were enslaved in Egypt and had largely moved away from keeping in the permanent presence of God. Now, after the wonders done through Moses, God's people were free from the Egyptians and would be surrounded by hundreds of other peoples who should have and maintain a relationship with God but who had flatly refused to be considered children of God. Therefore, God gives the Law so that his people are not the same as these other peoples, but rather learn the concepts that God does not accept in human beings.

“BECAUSE THE MARRIED WOMAN IS SUBJECT BY THE LAW TO THE HUSBAND WHILE HE LIVES; BUT IF THE HUSBAND DIES, SHE IS FREE FROM THE LAW OF THE HUSBAND.”

Romans 7.2

One of the ways to understand why we are no longer subject to the Law is through widowhood. When we were united in marriage, we are bound by the laws and principles that are to be upheld in it. That is, honor, respect, fidelity, companionship, sustenance, etc. however, when one of the two is missing, these laws and principles simply disappear. In the same way, we are now under the Law of Christ, therefore, we are no longer subject to the Law of the people of Israel, although this is the main basis from which we are subject to the love of God.

¿Por qué estar atado a algo que nos hace mucho mal?

ES sorprendente ver cómo el mejor ejemplo de nuestra relación con Dios es el matrimonio. Nuestro redentor Jesucristo utilizó muchos ejemplos sacados de la relación matrimonial y de las familias. Siguiendo este mismo ejemplo, el Apóstol Pablo, para hablar de la Ley que sujetaba al pueblo de Israel, uso la vida matrimonial para que le diéramos el significado que se pretendía dar. Como seres humanos, una ayuda pedagógica es muy buena si sabemos darle un apropiado uso, en este caso, estamos hablando de los ejemplos, metáforas y parábolas.

“¿ACASO IGNORÁIS, HERMANOS (PUES HABLO CON LOS QUE CONOCEN LA LEY), QUE LA LEY SE ENSEÑOREA DEL SER HUMANO ENTRE TANTO QUE ÉSTE VIVE?”

Romanos 7.1

El Evangelio de Cristo nos libera de las ataduras de la Ley. El contexto con respecto a la Ley del pueblo de Dios es: durante más de cuatro siglos ellos estuvieron esclavizados en Egipto y en gran parte se habían alejado de mantener en la presencia permanente de Dios. Ahora, después de los prodigios hechos por medio de Moisés, el pueblo de Dios estaba libre de los egipcios y estaría rodeado de cientos de pueblos que deberían tener y mantener una relación con Dios pero que, de plano habían rechazado ser considerados hijos de Dios. Por eso, Dios da la Ley para que su pueblo, no sean iguales que estos otros pueblos, sino que aprendieran los conceptos que Dios no acepta en los seres humanos. 

“PORQUE LA MUJER CASADA ESTÁ SUJETA POR LA LEY AL MARIDO MIENTRAS ÉSTE VIVE; PERO SI EL MARIDO MUERE, ELLA QUEDA LIBRE DE LA LEY DEL MARIDO.”

Romanos 7.2

Una de las maneras de comprender el por qué no estamos ya sujetos a la Ley es por medio de la viudez. Cuando estábamos unidos en matrimonio, estamos atados a las leyes y principios que se han de mantener en él. Es decir, honra, respeto, fidelidad, compañerismo, sustento, etc. sin embargo, cuando uno de los dos llega a faltar, estas leyes y principios, simplemente desaparecen. De la misma manera, ahora estamos bajo la Ley de Cristo, por lo tanto, ya no estamos sujetos a la Ley del pueblo de Israel aunque esta es la base principal de la cual nos sujetamos al amor de Dios.
