WHO CALLS ON HIM SHALL BE SAVED

What are we going to do with some anti-religious biblical passages?

YESTERDAY I heard a preaching against the religiosity that affects the human being. We can see this religiosity since the dawn of humanity and in the biblical stories of Cain and Abel, the preacher demonstrated, said religiosity. In the Word of God itself, we are going to find some passages or verses that are anti-religious, therefore, the doctrine or dogmatics of some are without foundation. The Bible declares: everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved. So, where are all those human and ecclesiastical regulations that we have imposed on human beings going to be when the Bible declares something as simple as invoking the Name of Christ?

“FOR THE SCRIPTURE SAYS: EVERYONE WHO BELIEVES IN HIM SHALL NOT BE ASHAMED.”

Romans 10.11

The Gospel of Christ does not embarrass anyone, on the contrary, it affirms and sustains it in decisive moments. If the Gospel of Christ decrees that only with the confession: "Jesus of Nazareth is the Saviour, Redeemer and King over all creation", He is enough to be saved, then we only have to confess it. I repeat, every other washer that we impose on the human being to be saved, is part of wanting to take power, authority and sovereignty from God.

 

“FOR THERE IS NO DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE JEW AND THE GREEK, BECAUSE THE SAME ONE WHO IS LORD OF ALL, IS RICH TOWARDS ALL THOSE WHO CALL ON HIM; FOR EVERYONE WHO CALLS ON THE NAME OF THE LORD SHALL BE SAVED.”

Romans 10.12-13

Do we have to manage God's agenda? Says the Word of God, who knows the Mind of God? And just as God demands of Job: do you know the measurements of the stars that are in the firmament? In the same way, there will be many things that we can answer, while others we must leave to God. For now, let us extend the kingdom of Christ and evangelise on time and out of it.
