CHRISTIAN DEVOTIONAL - JUMPING AND PRAISING GOD

CHRISTIAN DEVOTIONAL

JUMPING AND PRAISING GOD

It is therefore an aptitude of the heart.

THAT our faces and bodies reflect what we are experiencing is a reality. I cannot deny seeing how the hypocrisy of human beings surprises me. I explain myself, sometimes, when I ask people how are you? I usually find myself with: uh good!, but with a saddened face, with shoulders and arms drooping, begging the left foot to move because if not, the right one is going to throw it, hence, his body expression, speaks: everything is wrong but I don't want to say it! As Christians, our bodies, and our verbal expressions should show that the Holy Spirit lives in each of us and our actions. However, this is a general and idyllic idea, because, in reality, we have to consider that on many occasions things do not go as we wish. However, whenever we can, let's jump up and praise God because this is the best skill we can ever have.

“AND TAKING HIM BY THE RIGHT HAND, HE LIFTED HIM UP. INSTANTLY THE MAN'S FEET AND ANKLES GAINED STRENGTH."

Acts 3.4

Let us pray together: My God, I beg you, in the Name of Jesus Christ, take me by the arms and lift me up just as they did with this human being because I have no strength and I feel faint. Only your God can support me and help me carry this heavy load.

We are talking about a human being asking for alms and living off the charity that other people could feel for him. Therefore, the apostles gave him the best they had, faith in the Son of God. Peter and John had experienced the resurrection, the rising and glorification of Jesus of Nazareth, being elevated to Heaven. Now, he is seated at the right hand of God the Heavenly Father. They, the apostles, now wanted to take the bull by the horns and live in the Kingdom of Heaven just as the Master had taught them for the last three years.

“IN A JUMP HE STAND UP AND BEGAN TO WALK. THEN HE ENTERED WITH THEM INTO THE TEMPLE WITH HIS OWN FEET, LEAPING AND PRAISING GOD."

Acts 3-8

Let us pray together: Jesus of Nazareth, you are my King and Saviour, you defeated the darkness and the adversary, therefore, I can jump for joy, joy and adore the Heavenly Father for everything you did and will continue to do. Allow me to continue to grow our relationship through the action of your Holy Spirit in me.

Jumping and praising God should be our way of life. But being aware and realistic, we cannot do it 24 hours a day/ 7 days a week. But not for that reason, let us miss the opportunity to do it, privately, in public, at work, at home, on time and outside of it, because that is what we were created for because God is pleased with all those who seek him in spirit and truth and he is a rewarder of those who seek to please him.
