CHRISTIAN DEVOTIONAL -A COMMON POINT

CHRISTIAN DEVOTIONAL

A COMMON POINT

A single vision will take us further.

DIVIDE and you will win, this is the most used slogan in terms of war level. But it is not about dividing your group, but the opposite group. In Marvel's “Civil War” movie, the seemingly villainous character achieves his goal when he makes all the superheroes make two sides and thus, face each other. In this way, they did not focus on the real problem, but rather what, from their own point of view, all of them deviated from the purpose for which they were designed. Nothing closer to the reality that we are living in society, in all the areas that we can be; we see the divisions in the church, in the family, at work, in the economy. But in the kingdom of God, it is the opposite.

“THEREFORE THE PROMISE COMES BY FAITH, SO THAT BY GRACE IT IS GUARANTEED FOR ALL THE DESCENDANT OF ABRAHAM; THIS PROMISE IS NOT ONLY FOR THOSE WHO ARE OF THE LAW BUT FOR THOSE WHO ARE ALSO OF THE FAITH OF ABRAHAM, WHO IS THE FATHER THAT WE HAVE IN COMMON."

Romans 4:16

The Gospel of Christ is the faithful reflection of the fulfilment of the promise that God made at the time to Abram the Patriarch. These events occurred in the Genesis of Christendom: When Abram was ninety-nine years old, the Lord appeared to him and said, “I am Almighty God. He always lives according to my will and do what is right, and I promise you that I will give you a very numerous offspring. Then Abram leaned down to touch the ground with his forehead. God, on his part, continued to say to him: ―The pact that I am going to make with you is this: You will be the father of many nations. In addition, from today you will no longer be called Abram (Father Excellency), but Abraham (Father of Nations).

"BEFORE GOD, AS IT IS WRITTEN: "I HAVE MADE YOU A FATHER OF MANY NATIONS." SO ABRAHAM BELIEVED IN GOD WHO GIVES LIFE TO THE DEAD AND CALLS THINGS THAT ARE NOT AS IF THEY ALREADY EXIST."

Romans 4:17

In order to understand the Gospel of Christ we must understand that we have a common point: "the fulfilment of God's promises to humanity in Christ." For this reason, the Apostle wrote: because all the promises of God are in him Yes, and in him Amen, through us, for the glory of God. Let us reflect on the life we lead and thus we will understand if we are living the Gospel of Christ or not.

God bless you.
