WITH GREAT POWER
For many the kingdom of
heaven is a beautiful metaphor, for others it is a constant lifestyle.
TALKING about the kingdom of heaven and its justice is
apparently easy. But when we talk about living the kingdom of God and living
according to his justice, it is a very different story than what we usually
think. Being able to manifest the kingdom of Christ goes through developing the
Mind of Christ and with it, demonstrating to others that what we speak is what
we live and what we manifest in each of our acts, is the living power of the
Spirit of God acting in us. Therefore, for some it is easier to talk, talk and
talk, but when we must evaluate his testimony, his lifestyle, we find clear
evidence of who he really is.
"He also said to them: Truly I tell you
that there are some of those who are here, who will not taste death until they
have seen the kingdom of God come with power"
Mark 9. 1
Tremendous word of
challenge given by the Master to his disciples. It is like when you train for a
marathon, you have your suit and shoes ready, you push yourself, but when it is
the day, you just do not show up. Everything we have learned, in what we have
trained, in what we have invested have to make us reach the main goal of every
believer in God, to extend the kingdom of heaven through demonstrating Christ.
We have prepared ourselves for this marathon race, we are already at the
starting line, let us not miss the opportunity, let us reach the finish line
with Jesus Christ.

John, and led them alone to a high mountain; and he was transfigured before them”
Mark 9. 2
Perhaps seeing Jesus of
Nazareth as God is the great power of the kingdom of heaven that changes our
perspective of him. God is willing to manifest himself and demonstrate signs
and wonders, healing, freeing demons, speaking in non-human tongues, in short,
but we are the ones who limit the power of the Holy Spirit. Today is a good day
to break those structures that tie us to a life far from God. Today we can know
the kingdom of heaven with the perspective of Jesus Christ, because the Mind of
Christ is already in us, we only need to develop it.
