THIS WILL BE MY END
God does not stop
speaking to us at any time, we are the ones who do not want to hear him.
THE day has 24 hours, on
average we use 8 hours to rest, the rest of the day, we are entertained between
family, work, study, hobbies. We also watch the news, comment, and spend time
with family, friends, and co-workers. In many of the cases, we do not have time
for silence and have a time of solitude. And with any luck, few have their day
to seek God directly through the Bible, songs of praise and worship, or
preaching. Despite all this turbulent day, full of stress and entertainment,
God never stops talking to us and telling us about the plans he has with us,
how he is going to execute them and the results of these. However, if we do not
hear God's voice today, it is honestly our fault.
“Having left there,
they walked through Galilee; and I didn't want anyone to know."
Mark 9. 30
If Jesus Christ sought
a time of intimate solitude with his disciples, why shouldn't we have those
lonely times and thus seek the presence of God in the company of our closest
brothers? Jesus of Nazareth needed to discuss a very sensitive subject with his
disciples. Jesus Christ was wise, and he looked for the right time and place. Let
us take an example of this, God always wants to speak to us, for this, he will
take us to desert places and will take advantage of the propitious moment to do
so.
“For he taught his disciples
and said to them: The Son of Man will be delivered into the hands of men, and
they will kill him; but after death, he will rise again on the third day.
"
Mark 9. 31
Announcing how your
departure will be is not an easy topic to explain and it is certainly not easy
for your interlocutors to assimilate. God will always tell us his plans so that
we are prepared and if we are not, God himself will enable us. Today is a good
day to begin to be intimate with God, in prayer and searching in his Word about
the plans that he has for each one of us. Let us place our trust in him, let us
begin to walk hand in hand with God just as Jesus of Nazareth did. Let us
remember that Jesus Christ is our paradigm to follow.
