CHRISTIAN DEVOTIONAL - LOOK AT US!

MOST car accidents are caused by a distraction. These distractions can range from answering the phone, having a family discussion, sleeping or simply stopping looking at the horizon and focusing on what is around you instead of looking ahead to avoid crashing. Most likely, we will only become aware of this priority after having said accident. The question is if we had not entertained ourselves if we had kept our eyes on the horizon, would we not have caused an accident where someone lost their life? Jesus of Nazareth said: Jesus answered him: - No one who looks back after putting his hand to the plough is fit for the kingdom of God. Further on, the author of Hebrews tells us: fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and finisher of faith. Therefore, we cannot entertain ourselves or divert our sight from Jesus Christ, because he, through his Holy Spirit, guides us, therefore, from heaven today they shout to us: look at us!

"WHEN HE SAW THAT PEDRO AND JUAN WERE ABOUT TO ENTER, HE ASKED THEM FOR ALMOST."

Acts 3.3

Let us pray together: Dear God, you know my coming in and my going out, therefore, you know that I am easily distracted, but I do not want you to consider me that I am not worthy of the Kingdom of Heaven, because my passion is to be able to extend your Kingdom on time and out of it.

There is a saying that says: he came for wool and came out shorn. This man who went to beg hopes to receive some money from the apostles to continue pulling the economy and start the day off right. However, Peter and John, who had their eyes on heaven and were doing the will of God, knew that they would have to do something different with this beggar man. It is that many times, we wait for God to respond to us according to what our hearts have and in some cases, God will respond in ways that we least expect.

"PETER, WITH JOHN, LOOKING AT HIM INTENSELY, SAID TO HIM: LOOK AT US!"

Acts 3-4

Let us pray together: My God, help me understand when you respond in ways I did not expect because I know this has been your holy and perfect will. I ask this in the name of Jesus Christ, amen.

As the author of Hebrews says, we must not lose sight of Jesus, but consciously move forward hoping to do God's will and thus continue to extend the Kingdom of Heaven at all times. One thing we can be completely sure of is that, when we get distracted, they will shout at us from the skies: LOOK AT US!
