CHRISTIAN DEVOTIONAL -WITH CERTAINTY

CHRISTIAN DEVOTIONAL

WITH CERTAINTY

We can only be safe with God.

NOT being sure of things profoundly weakens us. For example, when considering the title of this message I wasn't sure about it. Well, I felt two options: the first was With Certainty and the second was, what should we do? Just in that moment of uncertainty, although this example is apparently very superfluous, I sought the guidance of the Holy Spirit to decide what topic he wanted me to cover and what would be title to give it. Therefore, I managed to feel (in my mind) that I had to deal with the issue of certainty in our lives. Therefore, the message would have to focus on understanding that we only have security about what we have experienced and what, if it was not the case, (having experienced it) the Holy Spirit of God, is who will give us confidence, security or certainty, to take the authority we need and thus be sure of what we are saying and doing. Because after all, we are witnesses and bear witness to a living God who dwells in us through the Mind of Christ (the Holy Spirit guiding us) who is already in us.

"KNOW ALL THE PEOPLE OF ISRAEL, WITH ALL SECURITY, THAT GOD HAS MADE THIS SAME JESUS WHOM YOU CRUCIFIED LORD AND MESSIAH."

Acts 2.36

Let us pray together: Abba Father, I know that I can approach your throne of grace confidently and adore you. Because I have been justified by Jesus Christ. Heavenly Father, continue to help me maintain a close and intimate relationship with you, I ask this in the Name of Jesus Christ.

None of us, I'm talking about current Christians, were physically at the moment of the passion, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. However, all our faith and security come from the certainty of believing that the facts narrated in the New Testament, about the life and work of Jesus of Nazareth, were real. Humanly speaking, we cannot explain many of the miracles that occurred there, such as the reason for so much suffering and how Jesus of Nazareth was resurrected. We only have the certainty of conviction on the part of the Holy Spirit that he did live, everything that we have been told up to now.

"WHEN THOSE ASSEMBLED THERE HEARD THIS, THEY WERE DEEPLY GRIEVED, AND ASKED PETER AND THE OTHER APOSTLES: BROTHERS, WHAT SHOULD WE DO?"

Acts 2.37

Let us pray together: Dear God, I am confident, I am firm, I am waiting but in you. Therefore, I am certain that everything written in the New Testament about Jesus Christ was real. Thank you, because I did not live it but I am convinced by you that I will be with you in eternity because of what happened on the Cross of Calvary through your Son Jesus of Nazareth.

Right in this paragraph it is convenient to put the question: what should we do? We are going to allow fears, doubts and insecurities to weaken us. Or quite the opposite, we are going to begin to live with the certainty that God, through the inheritance we receive from Jesus Christ, that is, His Holy Spirit guiding us, we will change our lifestyle and we will appropriate all the truths that God has for each one of us. That is, confirm that we are those little Christs that we are called to be.

God bless you. Remember to share this text with all the people you can.
