QUESTION OF CONFIDENCE
Nothing more terrible than betraying your best friend.
ON one occasion I taught about the great friendship that existed between Judas Iscariot and Jesus of Nazareth. This teaching had many people who rejected it. But my role as a theologian is to take the existing data and corroborate it with other relevant existing texts from the same time that give me light to explain them clearly. Another way is to take what is written and compare it with real life and try to reveal what is written in it and thus give both the reader and the Church the opportunity to decide if what is there is real, for whom it is. , in what period should he act and a very long etc.
"He, answering, he said to them: he is one of the twelve, he who dips with me in the dish."
Mark 14. 20
Can anyone reach into your plate of food? Obviously the answer is no. Who can do it? Your partner, your children, or a person of high confidence of yours. So why do we deny the great friendship and logically the trust that exists between Judas and Jesus? Another fact we find here: But he said this, not because he cared about the poor, but because he was a thief, and since he had the money bag, he subtracted from what was put into it. Really, are we going to give the money to a person who is not highly trusted and who is a faithful friend of ours? Surely we will all say no. So why wouldn't this rule apply to Jesus of Nazareth?

We are not exempt from treason, whether we commit it or it is done to us. The important thing is, what are we going to do when we are involved in it? What will be the reaction we will take? What are we doing productively to avoid getting caught up in trouble due to lack of trust? These types of questions will lead us to reflection and understand that we are doing well to affirm them or, on the contrary, what are we doing wrong to repent?
