CHRISTIAN DEVOTIONAL - A GOOD JOB

CHRISTIAN DEVOTIONAL

 A GOOD JOB

Willing and doing must go together in every action we do.

PLANNING  is part of ensuring success in life. Jesus Christ taught us: Whoever hears these words from me, and does them, I will liken him to a prudent man, who built his house on the rock. The rain descended, and the rivers came, and the winds blew, and beat against that house; and it did not fall, because it was founded on rock. He also told us: If any of you want to build a tower, what is the first thing he does? So he sits down to think how much it is going to cost him, to see if he has enough money.  Because if he starts building the tower and then doesn't have the money to finish it, people will make fun of him. Everybody will tell you, “What a fool you are! You started building the tower, and now you can't finish it. On many occasions, we will be preparing a future that we will not enjoy directly, but rather we will have the privilege of giving it for the extension of the Kingdom of God. I know of people who pay the mortgage on a house that they have rarely lived in but have it at the service of a missionary family to live in. We could say then, that this missionary family enjoys the blessing of a home thanks to many factors to take into account: the effort of the missionary family, the planning of the donor family, the hidden strategy of God, but in the end we could say that it has been by the will as the doing of all the people involved in the events of God.

“AND INFORMED BY THE CENTURION, HE GAVE THE BODY TO JOSHEP, WHO BOUGHT A SHEET, AND TAKING IT OFF, WRAPPED IT IN THE SHEET, AND PLACED IT IN A GRAVE THAT WAS DIG IN A ROCK, AND ROLLED A STONE AT THE ENTRANCE OF THE TOMB."

Mark 15. 45-46

Thirty-five kilos of mortuary spices were placed on the inert body of Jesus, an unused grave dug to bury him and a new sheet to cover him. All these things, Jesus did not prepare, although he knew beforehand that this would be his. In the same way, we can live this promise: So you will live in big and beautiful cities that you did not build, you will inhabit houses full of wealth that you did not earn, you will drink water from wells that you did not dig, and you will eat grapes and olives that you did not plant. But this will be in a way a conditional promise. And it will depend on our interest in following divine purposes in the same way that Jesus of Nazareth did. Thus he, to the end, fulfilled the wishes of the Father and extended the Kingdom of God.

"AND MARY MAGDALENE AND MARY JOSHEP MATHER´S LOOKED WHERE THEY WERE PUT IT."

Mark 15. 47

We can enjoy everything that God gives us, because it is a gift given by him. But this mystery of just looking at where they place the greatest gift they have given us, Christ. Many will allow Jesus Christ to be turned away. Others will use it as a gadget for when there are problems and difficulties. Others treasure it in their hearts and minds. Let us do a good job, let us be willing to give everything so that the Kingdom of God continues to spread and enjoy the undeserved blessings that we have.

God bless you.
