CHRISTIAN DEVOTIONAL -A PENDING TASK

 CHRISTIAN DEVOTIONAL

A PENDING TASK

All the promises of the OT were fulfilled in Christ.

I was about thirteen years old when I accepted Christ into my heart and since then, I have been reading his Word and inquiring into it. I have sought to learn from the Bible and put my trust in God and give support to my faith through what happened to the biblical characters and of course, I place a lot of emphasis on what happened to Jesus of Nazareth, because he is, my role model although I know I will fail in the attempt. But I have a pending task to do. The Apostle Paul says: because in him all the promises of God are fulfilled. So when we praise God we say "Amen" through Jesus Christ. However, I have never verified that this is so, nor do I need to have faith in Jesus of Nazareth. But as a theologian, in the research area, it is a pending task. Being self-critical will help us to be more efficient at the moment of extending the kingdom of Christ throughout the nations, because in this way, our faith will also increase.

"THEY ALSO CRUCIFIED TWO THIEVES WITH HIM, ONE ON THEIR RIGHT OF HIM, AND THE OTHER ON THE LEFT OF HIM."

Mark 15. 27

I know that this was so because of the historian Josephus who is his writings clearly speaks that this happened and of course and as a witness to the History of Rome, he could not or should not lie. For the most curious, the synoptic Gospels have the same base, that is, Mark wrote the original and Matthew and Luke added the part that corresponded to them, while the Gospel of John, has its own base and John in said Gospel, says the same. same in Jn 19.18. So, as theologians that all Christians are, we should do the same task that Saul of Tarsus (The Apostle Paul) did, who verified that all the messianic promises were fulfilled in the person of Jesus of Nazareth.

"AND THE SCRIPTURE THAT SAYS WAS FULFILLED: AND IT WAS COUNTED WITH THE WICKED."

Mark 15. 29

My friend and Pastor José Muñez began a series on his podcast entitled: "Lies that my pastor told me", where he demystifies a series of issues that are spoken from the pulpits and no one stops those sayings, why we have taught not to be critics or investigating things. Jesus of Nazareth fulfilled all the messianic promises even though I hadn't verified it yet. Many great renowned theologians have. All this teaching has to serve us to be critical and so that we use the mind that God gave us as a divine gift.
