LET US BE CONSISTENT
Let our actions reflect what we read and speak.
THERE are hundreds of biblical promises that we have in
our favour, that is, for all of us who consider ourselves children of God.
Moreover, we even misinterpret some of these promises in our favour to try to
twist God's arm, such as when we assure that in Christ we are more than
victorious, but due to our economic disorder we do not even have to pay the
water bill (I was the first in raising your hand). During this week we have
been talking about the soon return of Christ, but there is no clarifying and
exact doctrine on this subject. For this reason, we find a number of mere rumours
about the events that will occur and when it will occur, but this is more than
speculations, because as Jesus Christ himself declared: Truly I tell you, this
generation will not pass until all this happens. Heaven and earth will pass
away, but my words will not pass away. But of the day and hour no one knows,
not even the angels of heaven, but only my Father.
"Then they will see the Son of Man coming
in the clouds with great power and glory."
Mark 13. 26
The humility that Christ presented in his primary manifestation will be overshadowed by the majesty and might with which he will manifest in his second return. Therefore, when we can study the pseudo-charismatic movements of the 60s and 70s, as well as the current ones, we verify that the megalomania of those false prophets who claim to be Christ or at least act by the guidance of the spirit ... in any case it will be of your spirit. We honestly do not manage to measure the greatness of God, therefore, anyone with a supposedly revealing idea comes forward, we tend to fall for his lies and allow ourselves to be deceived.
"And then he will send his angels, and
gather his elect from the four winds, from the ends of the earth to the ends of
heaven."
Mark 13. 27
While this is happening, let us give glory to
God and evangelize in time and outside of him. Any soul that we can bring to
the feet of Christ is for his own benefit, but also to extend the kingdom of
Heaven. God is love and he loves all humanity. God wants all humanity to be
saved, without any distinction, let us remember what David said: I say: What is
man, that you have a memory of him? And the son of man, why you visit him? You
have made him little less than the angels, and you have crowned him with glory
and honour.
