A BETTER EXPLANATION
Only the light of Christ will bring clarity on this matter.
THERE are certain biblical chapters and themes within it
that due to their complexity is very difficult to deal with and of course to
speak. I still do not understand why God decided to act through me, recognizing
my mistakes and failures, God has called me to his ministry and this is part of
the mysteries that God reserves within his sovereignty. For this type of
situation the best we can do is ask God again about a specific matter, God will
not hide anything from us, because God wants us to understand everything in
life. The disciples of Christ did not understand the conversation about the
divorce that he had with the Scribes and the Pharisees, therefore, determined
and in privacy, they asked the Master again about this matter:
"At home the disciples returned to ask him
the same thing."
Mark 10. 10
Precisely the lack of communication and
misunderstandings is what kills a relationship, be it marital, family,
ministerial, work, in short ... we each know what we live and believe me when I
say this, I do not say it because I would have learned it in the University, I
say it because of the bad experiences I have lived in life. Of all the
relationships described above, marriage is the one that suffers the most,
because we want to recognize it or not, if even society is recent due to a
divorce, the more the family suffers.
“And he said to them: Whoever divorces her wife
and marries another of hers commits adultery against her; and if the woman
divorces her husband and marries another, she commits adultery."
Mark 10. 11-12
As I said in another devotional, there are
unsustainable situations in a relationship, continued physical and
psychological abuse and no desire to be remedied, sexual abuse towards the
partner and towards family members, mental dysfunctions incompatible with
healthy relationship, etc. We could consider and agree that Christ is attacking
the situation that some individuals live in their lack of commitment and to
maintain a relationship and looking for a false liberation to have easy
relationships, they take marriage as an act of freedom to simply have sexual
relations without being criticized, However, as I already said, at the first
difficulty and / or folly, they look for a new partner and therefore a new
marriage. Will the internal problems to be solved that these types of individuals
have, will they be solved with a new place?
